JĪVA DARŚANA

JĪVA DARŚANA, which translates to “Life-Vision,” is a peer-reviewed journal issued twice a year. It focuses on philosophy and religion and is published by the Jeevalaya Institute of Philosophy, an affiliate of Urbaniana University in Rome.

Jīva Darśana aims to foster interdisciplinary and intercultural thinking to promote a culture that affirms life and its meaning.

Jīva Darśana is a journal of the Jeevalaya Institute of Philosophy (JIP), a center for philosophical learning and research located in the Garden City of India. Founded in 1996, JIP is dedicated to a vision that emphasizes the interdependence of life and philosophy. Philosophy arises from our lived experiences and sustains itself as a quest for the meaning and fullness of life. Hence the name Jeevalaya, which means “abode of life,” and the motto “darśanat jīvạh,” meaning “from knowledge to life.”
